Hey, I´m Ben, an aspiring 3D Artist.
My journey into the world of 3D art began in 2022 at the bib international college in Paderborn, Germany. Thanks to the wide range of subjects, I was able to put my knowledge to the test in areas such as photography, drawing, video editing and website design and of course 3D modeling.
In 2024 I will start my studies at Howest University in Kortrijk, Belgium to improve my skills even further.
I specialize in 3D hard surface modeling, yet I also tested myself in environment Art (both 2D and 3D) and sculpting.
My portfolio showcases a wide variety of projects that either originate from school assignments or personal work.
Proficient in industry-standard software such as Blender,
Substance-Painter, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve and After Effects.
For drawing I mainly use Procreate.
I´m eager to learn and explore new tools to stay at the forefront of game art innovation.
Hexbreacher was a school project where my class developed a VR game from scratch.
Set in a medieval world of magic and spell-casting, the game required intricate asset design.
I contributed by modeling various assets, including these three.
The standard house of Hexbreachers little village
Besides the church, the tavern was an important centerpiece in the appearance of the village
This wooden cart is one of the many small assets used to populate the game
During my time at the bib, I had one week to work on a topic of my choice.
I decided to expand my knowledge of hard surface modeling and texturing,
and I believed a tank would be the perfect subject for this.
Initially, I planned to make the tank game-ready, but there wasn’t enough time for that.
I equipped the tank with many extra accessories to make the end result more varied and exciting
In the third semester at the bib international college, I did an internship at Matobe Verlag with a classmate.
Together, we developed two mascots, which were later animated using Character Animator.
I also created illustrations of various backgrounds for the mascots to appear against.
Many designs, sketches, and illustrations were created during the development of Hexbreacher.

Every classmember had to create a character for the game. Mine was the Moosmurmur.
